Microsoft Loses bid on Earth | Wednesday, June 29, 2005

For years now, I have speculated that after taking over computers, controlling much of online commerse, office applications, access to the internet (both as an ISP and with IE), and recently, video games, antispyware, and high-res image editing software, I have been waiting for Microsoft to put a bit in on MSEarth. Well, they've lost. For those who have watched the 2015 Epic, it depicts a battle that arises between Microsoft and Google.

This week, Google has taken a big step ahead of Micrsoft in their purchase, design, and recent beta release of Google Earth!

Microsoft may have claimed our computers, but Google has put a bid in on the internet and has purchased the rights to Earth while at it!
